Larissa & Peter – Vintage Hotel Del Perfection

We are sort of speechless when it comes to this one.  Not only were L & P absolutely amazing to work with (and gorgeous!) but the team and design concepts that the lovely ladies of Luxe Events put together could not have been more magical.  Jenny Minns (co-owner of Luxe Events) dreamt up a vintage ceremony scene, complete with a mahogany wood church pew entrance and a custom built wood platform holding a large vintage doorway set as the wedding archway.  We kicked the dreamy scene up a notch with lush and cascading florals.  Dripping hopps vines were paired with garden roses, hydrangea, spray roses, lisianthus, garlands and other like blooms to make this scene something truly spectacular.  The gorgeous beach at the Hotel Del Coronado was the perfect backdrop to this beauty!

A slight nautical nod was carried throughout the reception, including soft gray and ivory striped linens paired with vintage wood tables.  Our distressed wood stands were the perfect pairing to the highly stylized work that the ladies of Luxe Events produced.

Jenny & Karch : A Garden Rancho Santa Fe Estate Wedding

What a color palette!  What a view!  What a vendor team!  We are swooning over this dreamy backyard wedding set in the quaint hills of Rancho Santa Fe, California.  Huge thanks to Josh Elliot Studios for these awesome detail shots!  It was such a pleasuring teaming up with Alicia and Michele (aka the talent behind Before I Do Events) who designed each beautiful detail to perfection!  Vibrant hues of peach, blush, green and coral were paired resulting in absolute MAGIC!

J carried a gorgeous garden-style bridal bouquet of garden roses, dahlias, hellebores, clematis, stock, veronica and other like blooms.

The adorable flower girls wore delicate halos of babies breath and carried whimsical floral wands.

The ceremony took place at the beautiful Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, were we constructed a custom 8ft cross and accented it with hopps vines and delicate blooms including dahlias and garden roses.  Large entry arrangements were placed atop urns and deep wood stained pedestals.  Large hopps vines draped to the ground, where they were complimented by ivory pillar candles of varying heights and sizes.

The reception was simply breath-taking.  Dramatic 60ft garlands were strung across the reception, complimented by glowing market lights.  Faceted rose gold lanterns of differing heights and sizes were hung from the lush garlands, complimented by dripping vine chandeliers.  The fabulous fireplace was dressed head-to-toe in lush foliage and blooms, accented by glowing candlelight.  The ladies of Before I Do Events picked olive green goblets to be paired with textured wood tables (by Farm Tables and More) and delicately textured ivory fabric runners and napkins from La Tavola Linen.

Ashley & Rick : Vibrant Beach-Side Wedding

This dreamy beach-side wedding featured fun, vibrant centerpieces, color-blocked and dripping with garden vines.  Our bride loved the idea of adding some sparkle to her bridal bouquet, boasting a glittering brooch and textured pink duping silk wrapping.  Peonies were certainly the guest of honor, both in the bouquets and throughout the wedding florals.  Flowers were created in a full spectrum of greens and pinks ranging from fuchsia to blush and apple green to deep forest hues.  Our custom draped wood canopy structure was accented by a glamorous crystal chandelier.

Kristi & Mike : Glamour in Black, White and Gold

To describe this over-the-top wedding as glamorous would be an understatement.  With its numerous chandeliers, glittering crystals, rich golds and shining sequins, this wedding was a shimmering black, white and gold feast for the eyes.  Kristi knew exactly what she wanted from the moment she walked into our studio (along with her FABULOUS wedding coordinator, Gina Hundley of San Diego Weddings by Gina) and we took her dreams and made them into a flower-filled reality.

The bridal bouquet truly set the tone, created solely of fluffy, fragrant white peonies encrusted with unique gold-faceted brooches of all shapes and sizes.

Not to be outdone, the stunning ceremony was dressed-to-the-nines.  We custom created a gold dupioni silk carpet aisle runner and custom hand-sewn black lace platforms to be topped with floral and surrounded by luxe drama.  The entry to the aisle was marked by our gold chandeliers, dripping in fluffy peonies and roses paired with large urn-style arrangements of element-blocked florals.  We custom created a black draped canopy to be full with a lush floral arrangement across the top.  Our glittering gold and crystal chandelier hung in the center, complimenting the entry decor.

Huge centerpieces covered the reception, with a variety of centerpiece-types placed at guest tables, one more dramatic than the next.  Candles created a romantic glow across the room in shades of glass, cut crystal, gold and mercury glass.  Mirrored platforms were utilized to elevate centerpieces and create a unique look on the tabletops.  Gold candelabras were adorned with glittering Swarovski crystal detailing and black crystal candelabras were strategically placed along the room to add a unique twist.  By far the most dramatic and large of the centerpieces was an all-orchid centerpiece created from over 85 exotic phalaenopsis orchid stems.
