Michelle & Brian : An Ethereal Pastel Wedding at the Aviara

We met and fell instantly in love with Michelle and Brian via Skype through their über talented wedding coordinator, Victoria Schroeder of Victoria Weddings (formerly Coronado Weddings). Their choices of traditional pearls and pastels (ivory, blush and lavender) paired with modern twists of mirrored accents and mercury glass embellishments peaked our interest right away.

M chose to carry a soft blush and ivory bouquet with whimsical detailing complete with textured garden roses, fragrant gardenias and peonies.

The ceremony was absolutely breathtaking, with our unique spin on a canopy as the centerpiece. Blooms were placed A-symmetrically along the side of the structure, accented by strung pearls and sheer ivory silk draping. Tall ivory pedestals were placed to mark the entry of the aisle topped with large, cascading arrangements of soft ivory, blush and lavender.

The glamorous reception was created with a pairing of long banquet tables and round guest tables dressed in gray and sequin linen from La Tavola.

Kelle & Jack : A Fabulous Fuchsia Fête

Vibrant and fabulous, this stunning tented wedding took our breath away ! The bride, Kelle, could not have been more gorgeous and the talented team at Studio Castillero captured the day and evening flawlessly! K carried a timeless bouquet of creamy, fragrant gardenias.

The reception was drenched in candlelight and colorful florals in shades of blush, pink, white, fuchsia and blue. Tables were covered in beautiful lavender dupioni silk linen from La Tavola and topped with our delicate lace runners. Tall, vibrant centerpieces were set atop our distressed wood stands, creating a sort of “Restoration Hardware Chic” style.

Wow- what a cake! We set the cake atop a large floral arrangement and placed blooms to cascade down the length of the 4 tier beauty!

We created a custom backdrop of distressed gray wood paired with ombré toned blooms and cascading jasmine.

K & J wanted their place card table to be a play on “golf” so we created a rustic, unique floral and wood installation set behind our deep wood stained boxes covered in bright moss to mimic a golf green. Golf tees were placed within to mark table numbers.

Debbie & Keith : Organic Glamour at the Iconic Hotel Del Coronado

We love creating the perfect organic-glam wedding about as much as we adore the iconic Hotel Del Coronado. When the two are paired the result is absolute MAGIC! D & K chose a neutral palette of soft ivories and creams paired with fresh greens and rustic elements. Mixed metallic vessels, candlelight, shimmering linen and crystal candelabras were used to pump up the glam.

D carried an organic, free-flowing bouquet of various ivory, white and green blooms with organic accents.

The gorgeous, coastal ceremony took place on the Windsor Lawn, where we designed our wood stained canopy with a sheer overlapping silk draping and floral accents. Glittering mini chandeliers were placed down the length of the aisle, complete with free-flowing floral arrangements. Our two glittering free-standing crystal chandeliers were placed at either side of the canopy, adding a bit of glittering glamour.

The candle-studded reception was dripping in details, with shimmering crystal candelabras set against organic, free-flowing garden centerpieces of orchids, branches and succulents.

The sweetheart table was topped with a lush, dripping floral arrangements of orchids and various ivory and cream blooms paired with fresh greens and mixed metallic candles.

Liz & Alex : Modern Museum Glamour

What do you get when you pair an amazing couple with absolutely FABULOUS and inspired vendors? … You know where this is going… you get a modern/glam masterpiece like Alex and Liz’s fabulously unique wedding! When the girls at Luxe Events brought A & L to us, we immediately fell in love with their look and their personalities and knew this would be something we wanted to be a part of! They chose a unique palette of fuchsia, blush, peach, ivory and turquoise and described wanting their tables to be “so unique that each guest was jealous of where the next was sitting”. ABM photography captured every detail flawlessly!

ab6 The Jewish ceremony took place under our deep wood stained canopy draped A-symmetrically with sheer ivory silk and our glittering crystal chandelier. A whimsical swirling formation was created with delicate ivory rose petals. The Luxe ladies created a one of a kind layout, with long guest banquet tables creating an “X” pattern with the sweetheart table placed in the center. We paired various vessel mediums including mirrored, clear glass, porcelain, mercury glass and turquoise glass with blooms, specialty apothecary jars and other items.

The Sweetheart table was topped with an eclectic mixture of vessels and dripping white orchids.

Very unique tall centerpieces were strategically placed around the space to add height and texture. Exotic fuchsia orchids were hand fastened to glass cylinder vases and paired with painted wood, dripping white orchids and unique vessels containing colored blooms at the base of the vase.
