We have been waiting to bring you this fabulous wedding for FAR, FAR too long! With its recent 4 page feature in Ceremony Magazine, we are finally free to share all of the AMAZING details with you! We joined forces with the uber talented ladies of Luxe Events (who designed each detail flawlessly) and the talented photographers at She Wanders Photography to capture it in all of its glory. Get ready, because this wedding will truly knock your socks off! K & B tied the knot in Bali before having their blowout, 3 tiered celebration at the famous Hotel Del Coronado over labor day weekend.
The affair began on the two spaces of the Windsor Lawn and the gorgeous beaches of Coronado followed by a moving reception in the ballroom complete with electric violinists, life-size picture stations and so much more! Part I of this post will include the outdoor festivities and we will get to all of the indoor goodness in our Part II post.
Long wood banquet tables provided by Hire Elegance were styled with eclectic wood chairs (from various companies picked by Jenny Minns of Luxe Events) and a long floral runner complimented by two tall silver candelabra centerpieces DRIPPING in exotic white orchids and textured love.
A fabulous custom bar set up by Hire Elegance was accented by tall silver candelabras topped with densely packed babies breath and eclectic bud vases, julep cups and mercury glass vessels filled with white blooms.
The entrance to the open, structural tent was marked by French lace accented pedestals paired with hand painted beach wood and tall, vintage silver candelabras topped with dripping centerpieces of lush ivory, cream and green flowers.
The walkway to the beach was created with a pairing of eclectic lanterns, pillar candles and raw driftwood, transforming into pure romance as the sun set.
Various vintage tables brought in by Archive Vintage Rentals were topped with vignettes of crystal and blooms. With a fun and untraditional twist, all of the guests wore white!
Large wood pieces were pavéd with various textured ivory, cream and green blooms placed at the guest book table and behind the custom “kebbam” sandcastle.
The stunning bride carried a soft bouquet of ivory, cream and green florals finished in a sage wrapping with a delicate lace overlay.

It doesn’t get much better than helping good friends design the wedding of their dreams! I was so excited when G & K announced their engagement and came to us for design direction. She chose a neutral color palette for her reception with a mixed metallic look paired with pops of clean black and ivory. The color was brought in through the detailed bouquets and boutonnieres.
Gemma chose a very textured bouquet of over 20 varieties of flowers, branches, pods and succulents!
The ceremony took place in the San Diego Museum of Art, complete with hand crafted “blooming” silver branches.
The reception was studded with details, three types of centerpieces were placed upon three unique linen types for a very fun atmosphere.

We are so excited to share this unique, intimate wedding with you all! The details were put together and styled by the lovely ladies of Couture Events, set upon the oceean-view backdrop of the gorgeous La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla, California.
Christy chose a uniquely textured bouquet of soft blush and ivory blooms including dahlias, exotic proteas, calla lilies and other like blooms. The bouquet was finished with a detailed rhinestone finishing at the base.
The gorgeous ceremony took place under our custom champagne covered archway, complete with delicate garden blooms and a crystal chandelier.
The beautiful and unique centerpieces were made of a mixture of tall and short centerpieces. Tall, delicate vintage silver stands were topped with lush, A-symmetrically dripping centerpieces created from hydrangeas, various roses, orchids, tulips and amaranths. We created custom ivory platforms wrapped with a rich, textured ivory taffeta and brooch accents for centerpieces to be placed atop. The clean mirrored surface amplified the beautiful candlelight.
Other tables were topped with a vignette of mercury glass and clear glass vessels filled with lush blooms and surrounded by warm candlelight.
All of the beautiful images were perfectly captured by the talented Hung C Tran.

We could not be more excited to gush over all of these amazing details with you! From the detailed La Tavola linens to the glittering crystal chandeliers and stunning unique color palette, this wedding was absolutely one of our favorites of 2013! The photography was shot by the talented Caroline Tran, and we thank her for capturing all of the glory that was this wedding! This wedding was featured on the RUFFLED Blog, view the link by clicking here!
Let’s start with the ceremony details, or should I say CEREMONIES details. The bride and groom had a traditional Thai ceremony on the rooftop followed by an American ceremony in the ballroom of the Westgate Hotel in downtown San Diego.
The ladies carried Parisian inspired bouquets of soft ivory and blush tones (with feather accents provided by the bride). The American ceremony was dripping in candlelight with the aisle being lined in large cylinders vases accented by floating candles. The fireplace was accented by multiple layers of candlelight (mercury glass and clear glass) as well as a garland and bloom accents. The clients provided us with traditional Thai urns for the second ceremony, which we filled with a lush floral arrangement.
The reception felt as though one was walking into a gala thrown by Marie Antoinette herself, so uniquely stunning! Centerpieces consisted of three types of arrangements, tall crystal candelabras, short gold urn vases and detailed mini wedding cakes!!!
The Dessert Station and escort card table were both absolutely stunning and incredibly detailed! Heather from Amorology Weddings went all out and created a sweet masterpiece complete with a custom backdrop, glass cloches and french macarons!

What do you get when you pair an amazing couple with absolutely FABULOUS and inspired vendors? … You know where this is going… you get a modern/glam masterpiece like Alex and Liz’s fabulously unique wedding! When the girls at Luxe Events brought A & L to us, we immediately fell in love with their look and their personalities and knew this would be something we wanted to be a part of! They chose a unique palette of fuchsia, blush, peach, ivory and turquoise and described wanting their tables to be “so unique that each guest was jealous of where the next was sitting”. ABM photography captured every detail flawlessly!
The Jewish ceremony took place under our deep wood stained canopy draped A-symmetrically with sheer ivory silk and our glittering crystal chandelier. A whimsical swirling formation was created with delicate ivory rose petals.
The Luxe ladies created a one of a kind layout, with long guest banquet tables creating an “X” pattern with the sweetheart table placed in the center. We paired various vessel mediums including mirrored, clear glass, porcelain, mercury glass and turquoise glass with blooms, specialty apothecary jars and other items.
The Sweetheart table was topped with an eclectic mixture of vessels and dripping white orchids.
Very unique tall centerpieces were strategically placed around the space to add height and texture. Exotic fuchsia orchids were hand fastened to glass cylinder vases and paired with painted wood, dripping white orchids and unique vessels containing colored blooms at the base of the vase.

We all know the old adage that a bride must have “something old, something new, something borrowed and something BLUE” at her wedding. This wedding truly had it ALL from vintage lace from the bride’s mothers wedding gown to blue reception detailing set to perfection!
The reception was dripping in romantic candlelight in the form of clear glass, mercury glass and blue wrapped candle holders. We hand wrapped hundreds of vases and candleholders with the perfect Swiss satin ribbon to add just the right touch of blue and paired the gorgeous blue of the vessels and napkins with a soft dove grey shantung silk linen from Concepts Event Design.
