An Ethereal Garden Wedding

If you’re dreaming of a soft, whimsical, blush and cream open-air tented wedding, prepare to be INSPIRED!  The outstanding coordination & design team at Couture Events spared no detail when creating this traditional, garden beauty!  Set along the beautiful, lush grounds of the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, the event aesthetic blended perfectly with its soft backdrop.

The  bride and her ladies carried fluffy, white and cream bouquets of soft garden blooms.

Over 2000 white roses were petaled to create this dense aisle.  Tall, textured floral arrangements were placed atop custom ivory platforms to line the sides of the aisle leading to the stunningly detailed floral archway.  Delicate, whimsical vines naturally cascaded from the archway to compliment glittering, crystal strands.

The cocktail hour boasted eclectic vintage furnishings with floating vines placed above head.  A lush floral wall was placed as a photo backdrop.

The open tent reception was the perfect mix of traditional, vintage and garden, pairing wood tables with gold chiavari chairs, silk runners and pairing of tall and short centerpieces in soft shades of white, blush and fresh green.

The beautiful wedding cake had it’s very own canopy placed above it, finished with a crystal chandelier and dripping vines.

Meredith & Jason Wedding : Garden Simplicity in Rancho Santa Fe

Meredith and Jason could not have chosen a better venue or a better photography team to compliment their decor for their summer wedding than the gorgeously garden-esque Inn at Rancho Santa Fe and Studio Castillero Photography!  Having chosen an all ivory color palette with soft grey and silver accents, we had a lot of fun bringing in textures and unique vases to make the wedding come to life! 

The perfectly understated ceremony took place under our beautiful deep wood stained canopy with organic floral detailing across the top and climbing up the sides.  

Our very unique rustic reclaimed wood door and antique keys were an awesomely unique alternative to a place-card table. 

The tables were a perfect pairing of soft understated ivory shantung linens, provided by Concepts Event Design, and creamy ivory florals placed in unique vases ranging from milk glass and clear glass to mercury glass and silver julep cups.  

Each place setting was accented with an organic grouping of rosemary tied together with twine, adding beauty and scent!

Erin & Jason : organic vintage romance

A dreamy color palette of ivory, champagne, blush, sandy blue, and vintage grey with succulent pops created this superbly soft affair.  

Delicate boutonniere of organic scabiosa pod, brazilia accents and ivory spray roses finished in a light grey satin ribbon with twine accent.  

Gorgeously unique ceremony of rustic lanterns with ivory rose petals and metal pedestals holding sandblasted grapewood adorned with floral.  

Beautifully simple reception was created using both round and rectangular tables, with 3 different types of centerpieces.  Below our footed cylinder vases are wrapped with burlap and stuffed with ivory and blush florals.  

Mercury glass footed candle holders are grouped in the center of the guest table, creating glowing, romantic ambiance.  Rustic lanterns were moved from the aisles to sit at the guest tables.

Randa & Ethan: An Anthropologie Inspired Wedding

The anthropologie-inspired wedding has definitely proven to be a big trend in 2010.  Our gorgeous bride and groom, Randa & Ethan, loved the shabby chic fad and chose a coral, light orange, and ivory color scheme for their wedding at the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe.  Randa stressed that she wanted a lot of colorful, romantic texture in her bouquet (pictured below).  

 The bridesmaids carried fun textured ivory bouquets (shown below).  

We used many different types of pods along with dahlias, garden roses, a variety of standard and spray roses, silver brunia, scabiosa pods, and fiddlehead ferns.  The bouquets were uniquely finished in one of Blush’s signature metal wire accented handles.

 Centerpieces were simple and very “do it yourself” made from an eclectic grouping of coral and ivory blooms with various pods and organic accents.  The event was beautifully photographed by Erwin Darmali of Apertura Photography.
