Be Mine : Romantic Inspiration

Oh the glitter, glamour and fabulousness that was this inspiration shoot! We have been eager to share this beauty with you all and we hope you love it as much as we do! The Westgate Hotel in downtown San Diego was the PERFECT backdrop for this Parisian-inspired look. A big thank you to Couture Events, Whimsique and Bryan Miller Photography for collaborating with us on this tabletop. We opted for an elevated centerpiece as we really wanted to pull in the romance of a glittering crystal chandelier, and boy did we ever! We attached delicate Swarovski crystal strands to our center chandelier to create a “dripping” effect, pooling on the table below. To give it a bit of a unique twist, we utilized a sheer champagne silk to A-symmetrically drape from the florals on to the floor. To amplify the A-symmetrically placed silk, we brought in our gold candelabras in varying heights and sizes. We are simply swooning over how this turned out! Mike & Des : Sophisticated Spring Soiree

LOVE!!! Love is the only word that comes to mind when thinking about these two human beings and this spectacular wedding! We were honored to design the entire event from start to finish and work with such amazingly fabulous vendors. Huge thanks to Ashley Kelemen Photography for capturing it on camera!

Des chose a lovely, soft color palette of soft blush, vintage rose, ivory, fresh greens and organic pops of black, brown and burgundy. We used over 25 varieties of flowers and foliage to include fragrant garden roses, textured anemones, jasmine, cosmos, veronica and other like blooms and greens. Bouquets were finished with a rich, textured Midori ribbon detailing and trailing fabric drip.

The ceremony was pure magic, created under and around an old tree on the Rancho Bernardo Inn’s property. We created a delicate and lush floral garland around the base of the tree and hand strung orchids to hang from the branches, complimented by a crystal chandelier and Swarovski crystal strands and pendants.

The ballroom was DRIPPING in romantic candlelight and unique dimension created with the use of 3 fabulously dramatic centerpiece types. Both round tables and long banquet tables were utilized in order to create movement and variation between centerpieces. Tall, garden centerpieces were paired with 8ft tall “trees” that we hand created, complete with hanging candles. Banquet tables were topped with our lace runners and an array of tall and short gold candelabras with eclectic, garden centerpieces scattered along the center of the table placed within gold, bronze, mirrored, mercury glass and crystal vessels. Delicate sprigs of rosemary were finished with a bow accent and placed at every guest plate.

Amy & Erik : Vibrant Seaside Love

We have been dying to share this stunner of a wedding! It was such an honor when Amy, owner of First Comes Love Weddings & Events, asked us to design the florals for her stunning seaside nuptials. With a modern palette of bright purples, lavenders, ivories, silvers and grays, we created a candle studded and crystal filled event that was the true definition of the word “glam”.

Guests stared at the gorgeous, Pacific Ocean as they watched A & E tie the knot! We framed the couple with two of our glittering crystal candelabras placed atop our ivory pillars. Large florals were placed atop each candelabra, dripping in exotic white orchids, tulips, various roses, hydrangea and other like elements. Delicate rose petals were placed down the aisle in a whimsical swirling formation. Hire elegance brought in thee amazing white custom chairs that brought the contemporary look together so beautifully.

The reception was truly breathtaking. Tall, dripping purple, lavender and ivory centerpieces placed atop crystal candelabras were carried by our custom ivory taffeta wrapped pedestals, complete with glamorous brooch accents. We hand placed petite brooches on each candle holder, adding elements of bling and sparkle. Short centerpieces were created within vintage mirrored boxes, custom wrapped in ivory taffeta and surrounded by layers of glowing candlelight in mercury glass, clear glass and crystal cut vessels. Gorgeous draping, linens and beaded charger plates by Concepts Event Design paired perfectly with A’s palette.

we fabricated a driftwood chandelier to hang above the cocktail hour lounge furniture, dripping in purple phalaenopsis orchids and glittering crystals.

Gemma & Kenny : Textural Glamour

It doesn’t get much better than helping good friends design the wedding of their dreams! I was so excited when G & K announced their engagement and came to us for design direction. She chose a neutral color palette for her reception with a mixed metallic look paired with pops of clean black and ivory. The color was brought in through the detailed bouquets and boutonnieres.

Gemma chose a very textured bouquet of over 20 varieties of flowers, branches, pods and succulents!

The ceremony took place in the San Diego Museum of Art, complete with hand crafted “blooming” silver branches.

The reception was studded with details, three types of centerpieces were placed upon three unique linen types for a very fun atmosphere.

Erica & Josiah : “Something Blue” Wedding

We all know the old adage that a bride must have “something old, something new, something borrowed and something BLUE” at her wedding. This wedding truly had it ALL from vintage lace from the bride’s mothers wedding gown to blue reception detailing set to perfection!

The reception was dripping in romantic candlelight in the form of clear glass, mercury glass and blue wrapped candle holders. We hand wrapped hundreds of vases and candleholders with the perfect Swiss satin ribbon to add just the right touch of blue and paired the gorgeous blue of the vessels and napkins with a soft dove grey shantung silk linen from Concepts Event Design.
