Sarah & Austin : Vibrant Love at a Lavender Farm
  • Posted By : Blush Botanicals/
  • Under : Blog , wedding

It would be a terrible thing to keep this stunning, detail-infused soiree from the world so here we are to SHARE IT with you!  We had the pleasure of working together with the FABULOUS and design-savvy ladies at Couture Events to put this beautiful day together.  This lovely wedding was recently featured in the Ruffled blog, click here to see the entire Ruffled post and learn more about every juicy detail!

Sarah chose a wild, colorful and highly textured bouquet complete with colors ranging from orange to fuchsia.  The free-flowing bouquet was finished in a vintage gold double faced satin ribbon with the stem neatly showing at the bottom.

Sarah had the amazing idea to have each bridesmaid carry a unique floral in a color to match their shoes.

Centerpieces varied in size and color but texture was  a constant theme throughout the reception.  We created long distressed ivory boxes to hold these densely packed, vibrant floral arrangements holding over 15 types of flowers that were spread down the banquet tables.  These detailed florals were separated by unique and eclectic milk glass vessels filled with unique flower combinations.  Florals were placed atop a gorgeous chevron sequin table runner that complimented the gold chiavari chairs.

Not only a beautiful and sweet couple, this duo had SERIOUSLY great style and was very involved in our design process from start to finish.  We worked with a great team including the talented Gina Hundley of, San Diego Weddings by Gina, Orange Turtle Photography and Pamplemousse Grille among others!

Nothing is more romantic than a fragrant bouquet made completely of fluffy and creamy ivory peonies!!!  The beautiful bouquet was finished in a unique wrapping of satin, lace, pearls and a bit of glittering rhinestones.

GLAMOUR poured from every corner of the beautiful Swarovski crystal-studded courtyard reception.  Taking place at the beautiful San Diego Museum of Art, the scene was a sophisticated mixture of old world romance and modern elegance.  Pearl and Matt dined under our dramatic and gorgeous ivory canopy, DRIPPING in blooms and crystal strands.

Soft and delicate centerpieces were created from ivory and blush blooms with grey accents placed upon our stunning silver stands.

A big thank you to Orange Turtle Photography for capturing the night and each detail so perfectly, great job!

Glitter, glamour and grandeur- we are thrilled to be showing you this FABULOUS wedding, thanks to the talented photographer Tim Otto.  Dripping in crystal and glowing with romantic candle light, Krysta and Austin’s gorgeous Grand Del Mar wedding was over-the-top BEAUTIFUL!

We had the pleasure of working with the fabulous and talented Victoria Shroeder of Victoria Weddings and events, who created and designed this event with ease.  From the moment Krysta and Austin walked into our studio, we knew this was going to be a fun affair with her major requirements being glamour, glitter and PINK!   The beautiful bride carried a lush hand tied bouquet of fragrant peonies, garden roses, gardenias, spray roses and standard roses finished in a soft blush pink double faced wrapping with delicate lace detailing from the bridal gown and glittering rhinestone accents.

The bridesmaid carried flowers similar to the bride.

The STUNNING ceremony was created under our ivory canopy fully dressed in a thick, rich champagne silk.  Soft blush pink and ivory blooms covered the front, dripping in exotic white phalaenopsis orchids.  A lush carpet of ivory and blush rose petals made from over 850 rose heads was created for the bridal party to walk down.  gorgeously lush and romantically draping blush and ivory floral arrangements were placed atop lace pillars to mark the entrance to the aisle.

Warm candle light filled the Manchester Salon of the Grand Del Mar.  Two types of centerpieces were used to create this look.  Crystal candelabras were placed atop a mirrored base with small shaped, footed candle holders and votives and topped with a lush, draping floral arrangements in soft pink and ivory tones.  Other tables were topped with a lush, round floral arrangement placed directly on the table created around a trio of tall, footed glass cylinder vases grouped at varying heights with a champagne and lace detailing.

The sweetheart table was topped with a lush floral arrangement spanning the entire front and draping romantically off of the table.

A blush bloom was placed delicately at each place setting.  The escort card table was topped with a tall manzanita branch accented with orchids, roses and glittering Swarovski crystal strands and french cut pendants.

This intimate and romantic affair of no more than 60 attendees took place at the breathtaking L’Auberge Del Mar.  Together with the bride, the very talented Alison Patt, of L’Auberge Del Mar, created a sophisticated and unique event with room for a ceremony, reception and lounge area.  Jessica carried a beautiful and organic inspired bouquet of creamy ivory china mums, fragrant peonies, ranunculus, fluffy stock, roses, tulips, lisianthus and silver toned dusty miller.  Her bridesmaid carried a soft yellow and ivory bouquet create from stock, roses, lisianthus, ranunculus, billy balls and dusty miller leaves.

The groom, Michael, wore a textured and fun boutonniere of dusty miller, berzilia, tulips, spray roses and a crespedia pod.

Set atop the Pacific terrace with a gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean, the ceremony took place under our beautiful deep wood stained chuppah, delicately draped across the top and two sides to not block any of the outstanding view.  Floating orchid and crystal strands dripped from the two canopy sides, complimenting the submerged orchid aisle decor.  Fresh soft yellow lemons accented the aisle and were placed along the bar and escort card tables.  A whimsical swirling formation ran the length of the aisle.

The flower girl held an adorable floral wand.  The unique and sophisticated reception was created in soft ivory, grey, and yellow tones.  Centerpieces were created in vintage distressed ivory frames, containing  pave of china mums, hydrangea, dusty miller, tulips and spray roses.  Frames were placed down the length of the single long banquet table atop a clean mirrored runner, amplifying the glowing candlelight from the mercury glass votives and tall trios.

The lounge area was studded with belly bars and cocktail rounds topped with shaped glass vases and floating ivory blooms accented by lemons.  The dessert table was topped with a lovely array of sweets, set up and prepared by Alison Patt, of L’Auberge Del Mar.  We accented the table with submerged lemons placed inside footed cylinder vases.

As the sun went down, the romance was amplified by the numerous candles placed along the table and the fun market lighting stretched across the terrace.  All of the beauty was captured flawlessly by Joshua Aull Photography– thanks for the images!!!
